Burnley attacker Aaron Lennon has hailed Clarets boss Sean Dyche as one of the best he has worked with. The England international has played under the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto Martinez during the course of his club career and believes Dyche deserves recognition in the same bracket.
Burnley had gone through a lean patch in the Premier League where they failed to win 11 league games on the bounce, but they have since recovered to go on a five-match winning streak. Much of this has resulted from the return of Chris Wood from injury, and the New Zealander has netted five goals since their winning run begun against Everton last month.
The Lancashire outfit are now up to 52 points for the Premier League campaign, and they find themselves just two points behind sixth-placed Arsenal. Should a top-six club win the FA Cup, Burnley will have assured themselves of Europa League football with their present position, but they would no doubt want to contest the Gunners for the sixth spot.
Burnley have winnable games against Bournemouth, Stoke City and Brighton & Hove Albion to come before the end of the season, but besides this, they have a couple of tricky fixtures against the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal which may decide their eventual position in the Premier League standings.
